Slow flood
A long slow melt produced a much more modest flood than expected, but it's lasting a bit longer, too. The water was already dropping Tuesday when I visited Interstate Park (Minnesota) on the St. Croix River.
I've been hanging out on the Mississippi River for most of my life, and got paid for it for 35 years. I'll try to focus here on issues related to the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Other random thoughts may pop up.
